Acute pain is a message from the body that something is wrong and needs to be addressed.
Chronic pain is not meant to exist, it is a sign that something is out of harmony in the body and has never been fully addressed.

Miranda and Jason both treat people for their pain.
We can use massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, acupuncture, and/or Reiki.
We may also use additional treatments like cupping, moxibustion, topical liniments, herbal medicine, or nutritional advice.
Once you have decided which mode of therapy (i.e. massage, acupuncture, etc) you would like use as your primary therapy, we will take a comprehensive intake and evaluation when you come in. We will discuss your pain in your words, and then we will evaluate the situation with our hands as we work.
At the end of the session, we will give you feedback based on what we find. We may make recommendations for things you can do at home to help get better faster. We will discuss a treatment plan, how many sessions are recommended, or how often to come in for treatment. Every situation is unique. Some people get better after one treatment and only need two or three treatments before they feel completely better. Some people don't feel improvement until after five sessions, and it takes a full ten treatments before their pain is sustainably improved. Some people never get fully better because of a complicated health history or injury, and instead find a schedule of regular treatments that simply keeps them feeling as good as possible. Each situation is unique, but once we have worked on you the first time, we will be able to give you an idea of what kind of a course of treatment is advised for your case.
We will happily bill motor vehicle insurance for any treatment given to patients of an auto accident injury case. No prior prescription is needed for treatment for an auto accident.
We do not bill health insurance. If any of our treatments are actually covered by your insurance, you can pay us upfront, and then we will provide you with a "superbill" that has all of the necessary codes for your insurance provider to reimburse you directly.
The costs for each service vary; please call, text, or email our office for more information.
