As promised - a quick nutrition tip!

Below is an updated version of my Living Raw chocolate recipe and a short list of supplements. I have found these supplements, through extensive research, to be some of the most critical to the human body and brain. I suggest them to you as we are only as happy as we are healthy.
Krill Oil:

Freshly juiced wheat grass:

Vitamin D3:

Water:
it only takes 5% dehydration to throw 95% of your body's systems out of balance. Here is an excerpt to another one of Dr. Mercola's articles:

Your Body Will Let You Know When it’s Time for a Drink

Your body will tell you when it's time to replenish your water supply, because once your body has lost between one to two percent of its total water, your thirst mechanism lets you know that it's time to drink some water! Since your body is capable of telling you its needs, using thirst as a guide to how much water you need to drink is one way to help ensure your individual needs are met, day-by-day. Of course, if it's hot, exceptionally dry outside, or if you are engaged in exercise or other vigorous activity, you will require more water than normal. But again, if you drink as soon as you feel thirsty, you should be able to remain well hydrated even in these cases.

The color of your urine will also help you determine whether or not you might need to drink more. As long as you are not taking riboflavin (vitamin B2, also found in most multi-vitamins), which fluoresces and turns your urine bright yellow, then your urine should be a very light-colored yellow. If it is a deep, dark yellow then you are likely not drinking enough water. If your urine is scant or if you haven't urinated in many hours, that too is an indication that you're not drinking enough. (Based on the results from a few different studies, a healthy person urinates on average about seven or eight times a day.) Pure clean water is the ideal beverage of choice for hydration, but remember you can get valuable fluids from fresh fruits, vegetables and certain foods, like homemade broth, too.
Living Raw Chocolate!
Below is a powerful recipe for raw, organic, super chocolate. This is the REAL deal when it comes to super foods and really FEEDING your brain and body what it may be asking for to be vital. This is about truly living your dreams – all while eating rich chocolate!

To create the desired super brain food effects, the ingredients should
be as follows:

RAW SUPER CHOCOLATE!

(the purchase references listed below are for people living in or around Grants Pass, OR; others can look online at Amazon.com or go to their local health food store)

Recipe makes approximately four ½ cup bars, rich and beautiful!

Ingredient Sources:
Gooseberries (Redwood Ave)
The Herb Shop (G and 4th St)
The Sunshine Cafe (H St)
Ray's Food Place (7th St)
Fred Meyer
Vitality Herbs and Clay (Ashland or order online)
~ 541-482-9632

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw, organic Bright Earth Foods cacao powder (can be found in the raw superfood section at Gooseberries)
  • 1 cup organic cold pressed coconut oil (HarvestBay is a good brand and can be found at Gooseberries)
  • 1 tbs raw, organic coconut butter (can be found at Gooseberries)
  • 2 scoops of Neuro-Mag by LifeExtension (can be found at Sunshine Cafe)
  • 2 tsp super blue green algae powder (can be found at The Herb Shop or Gooseberries)
  • 2 tbs Raw Organic Bright Earth Foods Maca powder (can be found in the raw superfood section at Gooseberries)
  • 2 tbs mucuna powder (can be found at The Herb Shop)
  • 1 light dash of Himalayan Crystal Salt (can be found at Gooseberries)
  • 40 drops of trace minerals (Concen Trace Brand found at The Herb Shop)
  • 3 droppers full Herb Farm HOLY BASIL (can be found at Sunshine Cafe)
  • 4 capsules of Now brand Brain Elevate (Can be found at Sunshine Cafe – open capsules and spill powder into the mix)
  • 2tsp hops powder (Can be found at the Herb shop)
  • 2tsp passion flower powder (can be found at the Herb Shop)
  • 1tsp Friendly Flora powder (from Vitality Herbs and Clay ~ 541-482-9632)
  • 1 pinch of organic cayenne pepper - optional (can be found at The Herb Shop)
  • 4 scoop doses ormalite – optional (from Vitality Herbs and Clay ~ 541-482-9632)
  • 1 tbs organic lime zest – optional (get an organic lime and use a zester on the skin until desired amount is gathered)
  • For sugar free chocolate use: 4 to 5 droppers full of Vanilla Stevia (NuNaturals is a good brand and can be found at Ray's Food Place)

If you don't care for the taste of Stevia use: organic, raw (MUST be raw) agave nectar to taste (can be found at Gooseberries)

For a twist on the recipe: add wild harvest blueberries, (Wild blueberries can be purchased in the frozen section at Fred Meyer's.)

As you progress, you can also enjoy making your own modifications to the recipe.

Instructions for the basic recipe:

Add the cacao powder, coconut oil, coconut butter and other ingredients and MIX WELL. You don't want to run into any pockets of unmixed salt or cayenne. Then using a rubber spatula, pour equal parts into four small
glass or ceramic dessert molds (do not use plastic), place in fridge and let set for 20 min...being careful not to cut yourself, use a knife along the edge and the super chocolate should pop right out of the mold. Now enjoy! Start slowly and only use this chocolate in the morning if possible and in smaller doses. The super brain foods and caffeine from the cacao powder may give you more than a little energy and always remember to be responsible as to how much caffeine you take in. It can be a tax on your adrenals if consumed in high doses over time. :)

Now go! Enjoy your world, be happy and have fun as life opens your heart!!!!!
